OWNER AND HEAD COACH

I began gymnastics at age 3 in Cordova, TN, training through level 8 before transitioning to competitive cheerleading. I cheered for Germantown Middle and High School and competed with Memphis Elite All-Stars, earning 7 National Championship titles at UCA Nationals over seven years. I continued my cheer career as a Varsity Cheerleader at the University of Mississippi and, after graduating, coached at Pride Athletics, where I founded the All-Star Cheerleading program in 2013.

Kaitlyn Bess is from Hattiesburg MS where she cheered all 4 years at Oak Grove High School. She also worked at Ace and cheered on Chiefs Level 6 All Star team. She went on to cheer at Northwest Community College for 1 year and is now currently on the Ole Miss All Girl Cheerleading team!! Coach Kaitlyn says, “I’m so excited to be coaching at Wink; I love it already!”

Courtlynn Coats is from Petal MS where she cheered all 4 years at Petal High School. She went on to cheer at Jones County Junior College for 2 years and won a College National Champion title. She is now currently on the Ole Miss Coed Cheerleading team!! Coach Courtlynn says, "I'm so grateful and excited to be coaching at Wink!!! I love it so much already!"

Hailey March is from Chicago, Illinois where she did Allstar cheer for 12 years. She spent 6 of those years on small senior 6, ICE Lady Lightning. She had received two World Championship titles with them. She had went on to cheer her first two years at Ole Miss on all girl. Coach Hailey says “I’m so excited to be coaching at Wink! Tumbling has been something I have loved from a young age & I love to share this passion with them.”

Hayden Gililland is from Oxford, MS. She started cheer when she was 2 years old and Oxford Cheer and Tumble. Hayden joined their competitive All Star team for 10 seasons, winning multiple titles. She then joined ACE of North MS to continue progressing her cheer ability. Hayden then went on to cheer for Oxford Middle School, and now Oxford High School Varsity. “Cheer has always been apart of my life and I love being able to help these girls grow to gain skills!”

Caty Schmelzer is from Oxford, Mississippi. She started tumbling at the age of 3. She joined all-star cheerleading when she was 5 years old. She cheered competitively for 6 years before starting school cheer in 7th and 8th grade at Oxford Middle School. She has been on Oxford High School Varsity for 2 years and has also started all-star cheer again at Oxford Cheer. “Cheer and tumble has been a passion of mine for my entire life, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work at Wink with our talented staff and students!”

EVENTS COORDINATOR

Whitney Winkel is from Memphis, TN and was a high school cheerleader at Briarcrest Christian High School in Memphis, TN. Miss. Whitney is the WINK Events Coordinator as well as WINK WEAR clothing designer. If you are looking to have your birthday party at WINK, she is the one you contact!! She is also responsible for the gym maintence and general day to day activities.
